Fragmented systems
Separate tools for SIS, LMS, fees, HR and library create data silos, double entry and reconciliation headaches.
Run admissions, academics, campus operations, finance, engagement and AI-powered learning on one platform — for universities, colleges, K-12 schools and training institutes.

The challenge
Every campus ends up with the same accidental architecture: a system per department, an export per question, and a spreadsheet holding it all together. The cost is paid in staff hours, stale numbers and students who slip through unseen.
Separate tools for SIS, LMS, fees, HR and library create data silos, double entry and reconciliation headaches.
Admissions screening, grading, attendance and fee collection consume thousands of staff hours every term.
One-size-fits-all teaching leaves students disengaged, with no personal support outside the classroom.
Leadership waits on static, out-of-date reports and has no way to ask questions of its own data.
The solution
UniExl replaces the patchwork with a single, institutional-type-agnostic system — built on four pillars that hold from the applicant’s first click to the alumnus’s tenth year.
AI is wired into every module — not bolted on. 43+ features from admissions to grading to a live tutor.
Apple / Arc aesthetic: soft shadows, glass-morph, delightful micro-interactions, per-tenant branding.
Students, parents and teachers can talk to UniExl — 24 tools, 17 intents, 65 voice variants.

Who it’s for
A single CurriculumScope abstraction adapts UniExl from K-12 boards to higher-ed credit systems — no forked product, no separate codebase, no “that edition doesn’t support it”.

User roles
Not one dashboard with seventeen tabs — seventeen purpose-built experiences over one shared source of truth. Hover any role to see exactly how far it reaches.

Permissions
audit parent_guardian · viewed attendance · own child · 10:38
Every role resolves to an explicit permission set and a data scope — institution, department, class or self.
All 17 roles ship seeded in every tenant; admins clone and adjust them without touching code.
Reads and writes flow through the event backbone — who did what, to which record, from where, when.
Parents are read-only on their own child. Applicants see only their application. Nothing leaks sideways.
Product scope
A complete institutional ERP — modelled after OpenEduCat, rebuilt greenfield and AI-augmented end to end. Everything below is one product, one login, one permission model.

The differentiator
A bolt-on chatbot can only answer questions about a system it can’t see. Because AI lives inside every UniExl module — with the data, the permissions and the workflow — it produces outcomes instead of replies.

Migrating from an incumbent ERP? We map your existing entities to UniExl modules before the pilot, so the comparison is run on your own data.
Under the hood
Most education ERPs are a decade of patches on a monolith. UniExl is greenfield: typesafe end to end, isolated per tenant, and shipped continuously without a maintenance weekend.
Server components stream the heavy academic views; the rest is an installable PWA with a ⌘K command palette and offline-tolerant forms.
Every procedure is typed from the database row to the button that renders it. A schema change breaks the build, not the term-end results.
Each institution gets its own database — not a shared table with a tenant column. Isolation is physical, backups are per-institution, restores never touch a neighbour.
Every mutation — human or AI — emits an event with actor, scope, before/after and origin. Retention, export and legal hold are configurable per tenant.
Fee structures, invoices, gateways and reconciliation in the currency each campus actually bills in.
Portals, notifications and the voice assistant localise per user — not per deployment.
Pin a tenant's database to a region to satisfy national education and privacy rules.
Timezones, academic calendars, grading scales and credit systems are configuration, not forks.
The assistant is wired to real UniExl procedures, so it doesn’t summarise a help article — it fetches the attendance record, files the leave request or opens the fee instalment, inside the caller’s own permissions.
“When is my next hostel fee instalment due?”

Evaluation, answered
Grouped the way the room splits the work — 0 themes, two questions each, answered without asterisks.
Question not covered here?It reaches the team that would run your implementation, not a ticket queue.hello@sumeruedutech.comYes. UniExl models curriculum through a single CurriculumScope abstraction: a K-12 tenant expresses it as Board → Medium → Standard → Subject, while a university expresses it as Programme → Semester → Course → Credit. A trust or group operating both simply runs both tenant types under one platform account, with shared reporting on top and no forked product to maintain.
Ninety minutes is enough to see your own admissions cycle, results workflow and parent portal running on UniExl. Everything after that is your call.
We run the demo on your calendar, your grading scale and your fee structure — not a sandbox school.
Pilot one department, keep the incumbent running alongside, and decide with evidence.
All 72 modules and 43+ AI features are the platform — not a price list of add-ons.
